VIA job searching app
Inspiration & Background
Via is an application developed and designed to help people find their next job according to personal preferences and character. Unlike other apps in the job searching market, Via asks a diverse range of questions, from professional history to everyday skills and passions. This broad coverage allowing Via to fit each person to his or her specific field & recommended dream job.
Via’s look and feel are influenced by the 80’s style, specifically by the Italian Memphis design group. Beyond the group color pallet, geometrical shapes, and general unique touch- Memphis had a Rabelais agenda to their time: They wanted to break free from the stiff rules of the 70’s classic design and make things different. While designing the app, I incorporated Memphis’s style as well as their point of view - offering the users a slightly different, personal, and up-to-date questionnaire based on the 21st Job Market and lifestyle. Collaboration with Valeria Dorofeyev.
